Party with the Wii World Sports Party - Entertainment

The Wii is the ultimate party video game console. Unlike any other console, the Wii can get an entire group of people jumping on their toes. Most Wii games released are fun and active and do not consist of just pressing a few buttons; which is why the multiplayer feature of Wii is the best of its kind. Nintendo has released several collections of games that will entertain a group of friends or family. World Sports Party for the Wii is one of them. World Sports Party (Wii) is a collection of Mini-Games that solely serve the purpose of drawing a huge crowd of people. These mini-games include sports like beach sports and throwing darts. Mini-Game challenges have been created just for the family. Families can challenge other families in challenges. These challenges offer several rewards including points, trophies and awards. Accumulating all three types of rewards unlock a variety of items for the benefit of the players. Families within the game can stay at resorts for which r esort credits needs to be accumulated which can be done by winning challenges. The game also offers a single player mode also and a quick play mode, where one player can either go and play challenges alone and win credits, items or trophies or he can quickly begin a mini-game for practice. Hence, World Sports Party is a game that can be either played alone on a Sunday night or with a group of people on a Friday night. In the sports challenge mode, Families playing together can also unlock the pay-per-view Mini-games, one of the biggest highlight of the game. Families can use their Nintendo Avatars, also called Mii as playable characters in the game. The game also provides complete statistics of the challenges played by the families, as well as a family trophy case. Characters of each member of the family can be customized to the choice of the family members. World Sports Party is actually a Party PooperWorld Sports Party is indeed a sports party, but not as entertaining as e xpected. Families would rather spend the money and time playing some other game like Wii Sports. World Sports Party is in fact a pointless game because it seeks in accomplishing what games like Wii Sports have already accomplished. The Mini-Games in the game are creative and different from Wii Sports. However, playing those games isn't as exciting and fun. Game controls lack the full use of the motion sensing controls of the Wii Remote and the Wii motion plus. Also the title of the game overstates the diversity of the mini games, as majority of the games are beach sports. However, even Beach Sports (Wii) is far better than the beach sports in this game. In the end World Sports Party fails to impress, entertain or in general accomplish anything.
