Wii Console Bundle ? The Ultimate Entertainment Centre - Hobbies - Games

The Wii Console bundle is an expansion of the motion controlled genre of vieo games that Nintendo unleashed back in 2006 with the release of their first Wii console. This bundle gives you a choice of black or white consoles and peripherals. This bundle includes the ever popular Mario Cart and the Wii Wheel. Be sure to buy an additional Official Nintendo Wii Wheel (Mario Kart for 1 isn't as much fun without two players). You'll also want to buy another Wii Remote Plus - Black or White and Wii Nunchuk Controller - Black or White controller, depending on the colour of your console. The system only comes with one set in the box. This console supports all former controllers as well as the advanced capabilities of the now standard Remote Plus Controller, providing the user with the ultimate excuse to start or expand a Wii party in their homes...

As with every review about any console, this one is going to look at the specs involved. This console has 512 Mb of internal flash memory 2 USB 2.0 ports and a slot for SD memory expansion. Processing is taken care of by an IBM produced chip that has been christened Broadway and the graphics are handled by an ATI produced chipset known as Hollywood, and together they deliver unbeatable performance.

Disc loading is a simple process as there is no tray. To load the Wii you simply insert the disc into the self loading media bay. For added convenience, you can use standard CD/DVDs that are used in the new system as well as the Nintendo Game Cube discs. Wii also comes with it's own channels for complete family viewing and you also get streaming Netflix, for watching movies without a disc.

Buying a Wii will help the planet just a little too, as it uses far less power than the other major brand gaming consoles when it's running as well as when it's on stand by.

Motion control is the name of the game these days and the new Wii Remote Plus controller included with this bundle, is colour coded Black or White to the colour of the system that you buy, is the standard controller for the newer versions of the Wii. When you join this up with the original accelerometer enabled you have access to the extended capabilities that were once only available through the Wii Motion Plus accessory. Also available as a controller is the Wii Nunchuk and with this new system you can link up to 4 controllers at the same time.

No matter what level of gaming capability you think you might have, the Wii is the machine for you.
