This tutorial is mainly for those who want to play their Nintendo Wii games on their computers using Dolphin, a Nintendo Wii and Gamecube emulator. If you have a Wii Remote properly connected to your PC (see details below), the emulator will recognize it as a whole, which means that you won't need to configure any button or directional pad.
Regarding the emulator, there are still some bugs, but a lot of games are playable. Information about how to improve its performance you can find on the oficial forum.
It is also possible to use a Wii remote to play PC games, such as Resident Evil 5, Half Life 2, Formula 1 and Call of Duty. For that, you will need to use the software GlovePie and find on Internet a script of your prefered game (or write the script if you are an advanced user).
Regardless the purpose, you must follow this tutorial before using a Wii controller on PC, however, before start reading the steps, you should already have:

How to connect a Wii Remote to PC via bluetooth
Step 1: Plug your bluetooth adapter in your PC and then turn it on (if it does not do automatically).
Step 2: Install the software Bluesoleil (if not installed) and open it.
Step 3: Press, simultaneously, the buttons "1" and "2" on the Wii Remote. The four bottom lights will start blinking. If they did not do, try to press the buttons again.
Step 4: On the Bluesoleil screen, right-click on the orange circle and choose the option "Search devices". If your Wii Remote was recognized, it will appear a device named "NINTENDO-RVT-CNT-01". If did not appear, try to repeat the step 3 and 4.
Step 5: Right-click the new device and choose the option "Connect Bluetooth Human Interface Device". If an arrow connecting the orange circle and the new device appeared, then it means that now you can use your Wii controller on PC via bluetooth. If did not appear, try to repeat the step 3, 4 and 5.
If you are using the Dolphin emulator, you must choose the value "Real Wiimote" on the "Input Source" option, located at "Wiimote" menu to use your Wii Remote and Nunchuck.
